USB C to TTL Serial Isolator Board
If you're working with circuity prototypes operating at higher voltages that connect to a host device such as a PC or single board computer, expensive development board - all via USB-C - or you're just paranoid - then use these USB C to TTL Serial Isolator Boards from PMD Way.
They can protect your host device from errant power surges, by destroying themselves instead of your host device being destroyed. Isolation is up to 600 V DC.
This unit is based on twin optoisolators and supports baud rates of around 600 bps through to 250kbps. Operating voltage levels can be 3.3 or 5 V DC.
These boards are for TTL serial and are not designed for full, voltage-swinging RS232. Connection is via the solder pads as shown below:

Boards are available in packs of one, five and ten - use the options menu to select your requirement.
If you need something with terminal blocks instead of USB C, please review the other boards in the collection. And as always, all orders receive free delivery.
And remember ... if you:
- can't find what you need
- not sure what to order
- want a bulk deal
- need technical support
- or just want to have a talk ...
