Although most people enjoy using a digital multimeter, analog meters are great when you need to monitor varying changes in a signal ... the movement of a needle is much easier to visualise than staring at changing digits. 

This meter is for bench use, and not designed to withstand constant drops or rough treatment. Probes as illustrated are included.
